Imagine yourself driving on a barren road. You are nowhere near a person or town. Your car breaks down. What would you do to get out of this situation? I think many people would agree that a majority of people would use their cell phone to call a company. Cell phones are useful inventions of our time. They are great for social networking or in other words keeping in touch with family and friends. Not to mention they now provide Internet connection. Cell phones provide Facebook, Myspace, and Twitter updates. This allows you to stay in touch with whomever. However the phone may have a lot of good thing it also has its bad. Many people have plans that can be costly. In fact, the cost of a text at AT&T is ten cents. You may not think this is a lot now but when they add up it can be quite and expansive bill. Another great thing about cellphones is that almost everyone has one. It says on average 22 percent of young children own a cell phone (ages 6-9), 60 percent of tweens (ages 10-14), and 84 percent of teens (ages 15-18). Now you also have to think about the features they are using. Texting allows them to stay in touch with one another.
